List a car or truck you have recently seen on the street that made your "car hormones" secrete that special fluid, causing your head to turn and follow that beauty down the street.

Tell us what you saw!

I'll start it out with two I saw this morning going by my workplace.

>> A Yellow Mustang GT Convertible, fairly new and awesome!

>> Another Mustang, Black one of those Saleen set up fastbacks, fairly new with those cool rectangular exhaust outlets.... WoW!

I was back at the dealer the other day and saw an M3 Black Frozen Edition. Being clueless I was initially wondering what's up with that strange matte paint job on this car lol. Then realized it's a very special edition and they just had to parked it indoors on their show floor facing the entrance.

last nite - a recent Jaguar XK8 coupe, black Stirling Moss Edition, 1 of THREE produced for USA I learned.

On the car's sides was the Jag "leaping cat" logo, done to be visible only at night (and it was!)

Well over $100K I also learned

Saw a new Camaro in that hot orange color today, you know the color.... the one that gets very "hot" when the sun shines on it.

><><>< UPDATE ><><><

Just found out:
The color is called "Inferno Orange"...... no wonder I thought it was HOT!

Spotted a shiny new BMW M6 today, but it was driving down a tiny back street in a middle-of-nowhere town where the speed limit is only 15mph. Not the best place for a 500+hp German sport coupe.

Another Lotus!

What is it with Lotus lately? This time a Lotus Evora. Just cruising along in the middle lane on the interstate. I have never seen an Evora before. I had to cruise alongside briefly to listen to that beautiful engine note.

For a $100,000 car it had the most god-awful paint job. It must have been some custom job as it was truly hideous. No way the factory would release such garbage. Flat, dull, dirty looking. Plus it was a hideous goose-dropping green.

A 2005 Lotus Elise.

I've never seen one on the road. Pumpkin orange of all colors (yuck). I'm gonna say worth $40K or more. It was in a parking lot. I gave the driver a friendly nod as acknowledgement of his remarkable car.

Saw a new Dodge police car this evening. Interesting is the tail lighting on the car. The light looks like it is a string of L.E.D.s that form a kind of long ring around the back of the car, from one side to the other.

The lights are bright and don't look anything like conventional lights. Caught my eye!

One of my neighbors bought a beautiful Ford Raptor. It's stunning.

He said the only bad thing is it won't fit in the garage like his other truck did.

A guy was checking out my vehicle, while I was parked waiting for a friend. He saw me and was asking me questions about it. It made me feel really good that MY vehicle ended up being a neck twister.

I saw a Corvette drive downtown in Old Orchard Beach, Maine in the 90's in multiple years. He cruised past the same place a whole bunch of times. His air cleaner was so big he had to have part of his hood cut out. His license plate read "ADMIRAL".

Saw a 20's kind of rat-rod on the street today that took some real work to make.

The car was painted kind of a dull silver with all the seams in the bodywork painted black, kind of like it was sewn together. What was really innovative about this car was that it was extended like a limo with three windows along each side. The top was cut down a lot making the windshield and other glass much shorter than it was. The front was a traditional oldie with the pod headlights and the radiator surrounded with nickel trim.

Like it or not..... it sure got my attention! Kind of looked like some kind of frankenstein car! The car was driven by a pretty blonde lady, not Igor!

46-48 Mercury Woody wagon. Hard to tell what year they are, except for a change in the front bumper they all look pretty alike. I never got to see the front, just caught it going by too late to see it.

Must be a Ford classic car show around the area.

Sitting right in front of my store are two 46 Super Deluxe Coupes, a 47/8 Super Deluxe Coupe, and a 37 Tudor Sedan.

Just before these showed up, I saw a 53 Ford Convertible go by.

Every one of these cars are in "show condition".

WOWzers!

This was a couple weeks ago, but still a good one. I live in a tiny little town in northeastern PA, so pardon my surprise when I went to the rinky-dink post office on the corner and saw a bright red Shelby GT500 convertible parked outside with the top down. Pretty recent model, couldn't have been more than a couple years old. I also remember seeing a bright yellow Roush Mustang (slightly older model I think) when I was down in Philly. I've seen a lot of Shelbys on the road over the years, but that was the first time I spotted a Roush.

Last weekend I also got passed by something really old on the highway. Didn't catch the make or model, but it looked like it was from the 1940s. Fully restored with a nice two-tone paint job.

The Dodge in my last post was a 1960.
<<+>>
Just saw a custom mid-eighties Chevrolet pickup tricked out with a fiberglass hood with a large reverse hood scoop, purple and white with a yellow stripe running through a custom design paint job.

Sounded like it had some kind of pavement burning animal under the hood.

Beautiful truck!

A "looks just like new", Dodge Dart Phoenix two door hardtop. Painted black and very shiny with wide whitewall tires, stock wheels and wheel covers.

Looked like it was driven from the dealer's lot and parked in an atmosphere controlled garage and never used until today. Fantastic..... Fins and all!!!

It didn't make my heart pump faster; but I saw a DeLorean drive by while I was at a stop sign. Haven't seen one for a long time; and thought it was a nice looking vehicle.
